About GAA Club

The SETU Waterford GAA club is one of the most popular and successful clubs on campus. The Club operates on the GAA one club model and has teams across the 5 codes of Gaelic Games (including Hurling, Football, Camogie, Ladies Football and Handball). We cater for playing levels from Inter County players to students wishing to try the sport for the first time. The club promotes participation across all five codes with 11 teams competing in over 25 competitions. We pride ourselves on having some of the best coaching and managements in place to better aid our teams to perform to their best. Students can also get involved in other aspects of the club such as coaching, administration and analysis. It is a great club to be involved in as all the members are friendly and welcoming. The GAA club puts great emphasis on all players enjoying themselves win or lose. The SETU Waterford GAA Club is based in the SETU Arena which is a state-of-the-art sport complex with 3 grass pitches and 1 astro pitch located close to the Cork Road campus.
